Refund Policy

Please refer to the following information when returning products delivered from the Hutchings Timber website.

Products No Longer Required

You can cancel the order one day prior to delivery and receive a full refund. If the order has been delivered and is no longer required you may return the goods to us within 30 days of delivery and receive a full refund (excluding any delivery charge). Alternatively, collection of the product can be arranged. To arrange for the product(s) to be collected, send an e-mail to web@hutchingstimber.co.uk. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it  with your order number and details of the product to be returned.  If we have to collect any part of the order there will be a minimum charge, payable by you of £20 for this service, which may increase significantly dependent on your location and product type. Your refund will be processed within 30 days. This is subject to the following conditions:

  • You must notify us within 30 days from delivery of any products not required
  • The products must be unused and returned in their original packaging
  • Orders which are cut, made to measure will not be exchanged or refunded.

Faulty or Damaged Products

In the unlikely event that a delivered product (including special order and made-to-measure items) is faulty, we will exchange the product or provide you with a full refund. Notification of any defect must be made within 30 days of the product being delivered to you. We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange. Faulty products can be returned to us, with proof of purchase, for a full refund (including delivery charge). Alternatively, collection of the product can be arranged, to arrange for the product(s) to be collected, send an e-mail to  web@hutchingstimber.co.uk. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with your order number and details of the product to be returned. We will either dispatch a replacement or process the refund. All refunds will be made to the account used to purchase the product.
