Very little preparation is required to receive the desired look as it can be painted over most previously coated items. If using over previously coated surface, test a small area for compatibility. Get the shabby chic look by painting your furniture with multiple coats then distressing it by lightly sanding down small areas using fine sandpaper or Rustins 0000 Steel Wool. Contains wax and does not finger mark. Clean brushes in water.
